Our commitment
Accessibility
Companion Care for Veterans wants veterans, families, caregivers, volunteers, and community members to be able to use this website.
Last reviewed: August 16, 2026
This website was designed with semantic headings, keyboard-accessible navigation, visible focus indicators, descriptive alternative text, labeled contact and application controls, responsive layouts, strong color contrast, clear validation messages, and support for reduced-motion preferences.
Using the website
You should be able to navigate the primary website content using a keyboard, browser zoom, screen-reader software, or common assistive technology. The site does not require a mouse to reach its essential links and form controls.
Alternative ways to communicate
When a website feature creates a barrier, contact the organization by telephone at (505) 990-8016 or by email at companionforveterans@fbdex.com. Please identify the page, feature, or information that was difficult to access and describe the format or assistance that would be useful.
Third-party websites
Links to government and outside resources are provided for convenience. Companion Care for Veterans cannot control the accessibility of third-party websites, but it welcomes notice when an external resource presents a barrier so that another resource can be considered.
Ongoing improvement
Accessibility is an ongoing process. As programs and website features expand, the organization should continue testing keyboard operation, screen-reader structure, form instructions, text scaling, contrast, captions, and document accessibility.
